Fall Trip

What is the best way to experience the season?
It is going to the trip and see with our eyes, touch with our hands, and listen with our ears.
Before we went on the trip, friends discussed some rules of a Safe Good Manners Fall Trip.
We took a trip on a big yellow bus.

Taking a trip on a big yellow bus was a lot of fun.

We remembered to put safety belts on.

All aboard!

It was a long trip! What could we do on the bus?
We looked out of window.

We sang some songs.

Finally, we came to the Prospect Park!
Oh my, what a gorgeous site!

When the leaves changed colors we know...
It's fall! That's all!
But why leaves change colors?
We know!
Cause days get shorter and nights get longer!
It's fall. That's all!

Daniela found yellow maple leaf.
During Summer days, days are long.
There is enough of sunlight for trees to make food.

During Fall time, there is less of sunlight.
Leaves change colors and fall down.
Not only leaves fall down, also fruits and seeds.
Look, David found seeds of maple tree.

Jackie and friends enjoyed leaves hunting!

Nissan enjoyed it full bag:)

But most fun friends had playing with leaves!

We learned that trees sleep during Winter time.
As soon as leaves will be down, tree
starts its hibernation.

Bibi found a spot to rest under the tree.

The tree was so big that we needed 7 friends to hug it
and wish it sweet dreams.
It's fall. That's all.

The journey home was much more faster.
We had a great time on the trip.
